Forget the old, clunky, large (47 x 26.2 x 15mm) and heavy (14.9g) FS-iA6B.
Flysky's latest RX is smaller (36 x 22 x 7.5mm) and much lighter (4.5g), and the detachable, easily replaceable, slim antennas are a nice touch...
There are quite a few excellent Youtube reviewers out there who do honest, professional and comprehensive reviews, clearly spelling out the pros and cons. At places like Amazon those not marked 'Verified Purchase' should be ignored.
I don't know what you mean by smaller, I used those motors (I'm assuming you mean 2212) with my tricopter, they work good with 10 inch props (I used 1045). You can go to smaller props but the grams of thrust will suffer. An 8 inch prop will generate ~30% less thrust.
A couple father stories. When a was a young teen my mom caught me smoking and it was the old "wait till your father comes home." At the dinner table I figured I'd be preemptive. "Hey pop, how old were you when you started smoking?" Without even looking up, between bites, he replied " 'bout...

I just checked MM in Win 7 will open...
I wouldn't say underpowered and FWIW it's WiFi range (and it's overall range in general) is excellent, almost amazing. But the Hubsan (which was about ~$300 last year) is just a better overall choice these days.
FWIW I won a Bugs 2C. At the time I entered the contest they were ~$190. It...
Not really, especially at that price you linked to. The Hubsan has better video and has a built in 5.8ghz FPV screen (could use with FPV goggles) and unlike the Bugs has a follow me GPS mode, a nice touch. It also has a high rate Sport Mode and replacement batteries are higher mAh and about 30%...
I don't agree with that, especially if you factor in your time/labor/tools. The amount of posts we see across various forums concerning the trials and tribulations of actually getting a 'build' flying are staggering. How many times have we seen cry for help posts, that simply fade away? We...
