On a different not i see that the new version of beta flight has a return to home via GPS i might just stick with Beta over INAV.

i flashed it with beta flight and have the exact same issue as soon as i plug in my LIPO it just reboots, arms the motor, reboots, I am starting to think i might have a defective 4 in 1 ESC.

I have not tried calibration, what is the procedure for that ? If it keeps acting up i might just flash it with BetaFlight and call it a day. I was liking the GPS features of INAV like RTH and loiter but it might not be worth the damn grief.

Well learned a lesson, the ESC has three wires, signal, ground and 5v, the 5v is a BEC regulated output, not an input, I was hooking that wire up to the 5v out pin on the FC. might explain why i had so many off problems like the CLI screen locking up. I am going to retire this FC. I have a new...

I am going to try the work around calibration, but if it continues to give me trouble i can always order different ESC's. I would like to get these ones working since they came the motors.

Yes I have checked that box, I think what I need to do is go through the calibration process, full throttle battery unhooked, hook up battery, motor screen master slider to full, wait for beep, master slider to idle, wait for beep. When I hook up the battery now i get the self test tones and...

yeah I think i might do that but vodka is the drink of choice. It is not arming, on boot up i can feel the motor twitching with the beep tones. I will figure out how to arm this thing tomorrow. Thanks

How can i make it arm, in beta flight i switched the warning switch and ran the master up and got no response. I am not using the X7 controller just the on screen software.

I will check it out. I am done tinkering for tonight. From what i can tell from the power on code i get the 3 power on beeps then the longer beep indicating connection to the FC. I have 11 volts on the positive to the ESC. I get no output. I am thinking its a setting for the ESC in betaflight...
