It caused me a lot of problems.... In 1 crash the motor wouldn't stop spinning and the blades were caught up in the dry grass and it actually caught fire, so I took the motor apart and cleaned it out, visually everything looked good and still spin but when I hooked it back up it fried my ESC...

learned something new today, that carbon fibre is conductive and my frysky transmitter was arking out on the frame where the antenna connect. Enough that its almost burnt a hole right through. Insulated it with electrical tape and now my quad is running great !

absolutely stumped at this point. My Emax 250 quad copter was doing great and still fly's great but when i land my motor #2 won't stop spinning. Have re calibrated the ESC's via open pilot 3 times now. Even if I trim the throttle down won't stop. short of replacing the ESC not sure what to do !

yeah picking up new motors today. 1 caught fire, and the other the hole on my carbon fiber prop was too small so rather then file it out i rammed it on and got it stuck. so when torquing on it with a pipe wrench wrecked the motor lol. Think I spend more time fixing than flying these days !

Is this just for Drones/ UAV's or with model aircraft too ? Hopefully it means getting a flight operators license would be much easier, right now there is no formal paper work and third party agency's want about $1000 to file.

she ok at night time with the lights but ya, during the day can be tricky. she mostly an indoor flyer.

IF money is not an issue I highly recommend Pixhawk FC with the sonar.

Couldn't find any information on changing these motors out on the Faze, with success i made this video for those interested.

After spending endless amounts of money on repairing the frame on my Blade QX350 i built this one out of aluminum. she technically no longer a 350 as I shorten the wing span to 10.5 inches she indestructible now :)

forgot to mention too but put foam under your controller to dampen vibration, hope this helps

my eyes are getting bad so i'm having troubles seeing your build. but I had a cc3D flight controller that i did the binding with the ESC's conected and while it would fly it would do the same erratic behavior. also, keep your reciever as far away from other electrical components specially the...
