My neighborhood for whatever reason has super crappy fpv reception, as in signal failing at 40 yards. Might be all the trees, lots of metal houses, alien spacecraft, etc.
Assuming we forget about the whole legal line- of- sight issue when flying a drone, is there a way I can set up an antenna system on the roof for my goggles and radio so I can get the range other people are getting?
Would a coaxial cable from antennas to goggles/tx be too lossy or have too much latency? Is a roof mounted ground station the way to go? How about the radio/ tx? Your expert input is most appreciated. Please see included sophisticated illustrations.
