Yet another "will my build even fly" thread.

I build one F450 based quadcopter that came in a kit and now trying to build a F330 based quadcopter on my own.

Aside from the usual mandatory parts, the copter is supposed to carry a Raspberry Pi with an LTE shield and a gimbal, both of them adding some weight. The specs are
The copter is not completely assembled, but I already bought the parts based on standard recommendations on the internet (That frame size usually goes with these motor ratings and usually uses these propellers, etc...). Unfortunately, I'm starting to doubt it will even fly. The specs table for the motors states that with 8x4 propellers, they have a thrust of about 450g ("schub" means thrust. Sorry, but most in Extrons shop is in german even when set to english). At 1.5kg of weight this is not a good thrust to weight ratio, as everybody seems to recommend a ratio of at least 2:1. However, is that ratio even reachable in real life? I might be wrong, but a F330 setup with 3kg of thrust seems insanely powerful to me. How would I even achieve that? By bigger propellers or higher voltage batteries (and motors that can handle them)?

So, altogether, I'd like to know if these parts are a well balanced setup, the fever dream of a madman or anything in between.

Suggest check out ecalc.ch is great for getting some in theory numbers just takes some time to understand the interface but plug in some close parts and see what it calculates.

Thanks, i heard of that site before but never paid it much attention. However, I definitely should have. I don't think the values are applicable to real life, but it lets you see the effects of canges to your build, and that alone is priceless.
Using this site, I have upgraded my build with 2220/12 motors by Extron, 30A ESC's and a 4s, 7000mAh battery.

Sorry, the last post was meant as conclusion, I bought new motors, ESC's and a battery. I totally forgot to mention what became of my first build.
It flew, but not too well. During longer guided mode flights, it struggled to keep it's exact height. Looking at the log, the motor outputs under CTUN often reached the maximum and produced several potential_thrust_loss messages.
So the build was definitely undermotorized. Using a 4s battery instead of a 3s could have saved it, but would have brought the motors and ESCs dangerously close to their maximum current.
