What happened to my post and account?

I posted a message requesting advice on a drone to purchase and I received an email telling me that someone replied to it. When I check to read the reply it said there was no such post.

When I tried to log in, my account was gone?

I hesitate to post again, because it appears that asking for advice violates the forum rules, yet I could not find such a rule.

Can someone direct me to forum rules, or explain why my post and account would be deleted when asking for advice. Seems very unfriendly....
 
If this was in the last week or two check the announcements section in the forum the admins were working on upgrades and some things may have been lost in the process in general this is a pretty open forum so I doubt if the post or account were deleted intentionally.
 
Also, welcome to the forum sorry you had such a bad first experience just a matter of bad timing I'd guess.
 
Yes it was last week and that would explain it. I will repost and try again.
