What ESC to use on 650 build?

I'm venturing out and building my first quadcopter although I've had a smaller one for some time now. I'm starting with the Tarot Ironman 650 frame and now I'm looking for the right ESC to use. I've seen and read many things about ESC's but I'm not sure of which ones are the best ones to get. In the end I'll be flying a gopro 3 with gimbal and fpv in the future. I've looked into the Maytech 30AMP ESC's but they are a bit pricey. Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be a good alternative to the Maytech?
Thanks,

You could probably get away with a 20A ESC if the motor is rated at 21A max continuous draw. 20A ESC's are usually rated to burst to 25A for 10 seconds or so. If this is the motor you've got, they have some prop testing stats:

As long as you use a recommended prop size, you won't draw too much power for the motor and ESC. You could also buy 30A to be safe (it won't hurt) and they really don't cost too much more:

When it comes to which ESC's to buy, I'd pick up any 30A SimonK flashed ESC. Some people like certain brands, but I've found that some production runs are better than others - not necessarily the brands. As long as you buy through a reputable seller, you can always get a replacement if one arrives DOA. I usually buy 5 of everything just because that does happen sometimes and I don't want to be left waiting for 1 replacement part to finish my build.

I use RCTimer SimonK ESC's on one of my builds and they haven't given me any problems. And they're inexpensive:
