Weird motors reaction

Hi there.

I am a new drone user. Not so long ago I have built my first one setup. I didn't spend too much money on that one, but it should work nice anyway as for a beginner.

And... it doesn't. The problem is with weird motor reaction, especially when the motor speed is low - like when I start or try to hold a position. It is hard for me to describe that, so there are two videos, one from my phone (sorry for quality, it was windy, cold and hard to recording and flying at the time with only two hands), and one from on-board cam. So basically it turns around in "steps", like some motor miss a signal or something...

I have noticed that it depends on propellers. For example with 5045 2-blade it work almost ok, the problem occure very occasionaly, but with 5048 3-blade it works terrible, the yaw is crazy then.

Here are videos: I used only throttle, no yaw.

My setup:
- Naze32 Rev-6 controller
- Racestar RS20Ax4 ESC
- 3S/4S 1500mAh TBCWORTH 60C
- DYS SE2008-2300kv - yeah, I know, very cheap...

- and some other less important stuff

Has anyone had similar problem and can give me any idea and hints what can cause such a motors reaction when flying? Bad parts or configuration? I use the newest Cleanflight.

Thanks,
Arek

Thank you for your response.

Yes, the controller is facing forward and it has a right software.

I had a while and I set up the blackbox for testing. After analysis of PIDs outputs and gyro's data I could see that there are a lot of vibrations (in a range of relatively low speed) with those 5048 propellers. With a stock PID settings on this controller when vibrations occure it goes into crazy, fast oscilations and this is the reason why it react like on the video I posted. When I changed propellers to Dalprop Cyclone Pro 5045 it started working really nice.

So the problem is with bad balanced propellers which causes specific vibrations, and that in turns leads to this problem.. I have no time to build a balancer for propeller at the time so I moved permamently to another propellers.

We can close this topic, maybe those posts can give some suggestions if anybody hit the similar problem.

Sorry for my English, not in a good condition ;)

Thanks,
Arek
