VTX, FC, and camera connection

Hi,

I am trying to connect the HGLRC Foward VTX, T-motor FC F4, and Runcam Micro Swift V3 Camera. My understand is that Camera connects to FC. VTX connects to FC.

For the pin/soldering process:

VTX to FC (circled in red on attached photo). This is what I'm assuming
VTX to FC:
VID to VO
GND to "-"
5V to ?? ( Any help)
RX to ?? (Any help)
GND to ?? (Any help)
BAT to +
For the "Bat 5V" just above the "VTX" letters, what do with these?
Camera to FC is where I am most confused (circled in blue on attached photo).
  • Flight Controller "CAM" connections:
    • -
    • +
    • CC
    • VI
    • Same "BAT" area just above "CAM" Letters.
  • Camera Connectors Are
    • 5-36 V
    • GND
    • VID
    • G/TX
    • M/RX
My best guess is that (FC to Camera) - to GND, + to 5-36V, VI to VID. But that leaves plenty of ports left.
Can anyone assist with making the correct connections for FC to Camera and FC to VTX?

Thank you so very much for your help.

Update:

For the VTX: 5V and "BAT" ports are both power sources. Would I simply choose 5V or BAT and unclip the cable for the one that was not selected?

For the FC: The Diagram for the Three BAT pads. Do I simple solder two of the three points together for whichever power level was selected for the VTX (above)?

For example - BAT is chosen on VTX, The 5V cable is unplugged from the VTX port. On the FC, I solder the two blocks together that correspond with BAT?

I agree with @Dugdog47. You can't see too many. Especially as things advance so fast.
The part that I'm really not sure on is the +vbat, rx, and tx on the camera. If anything, the CC (camera control) is meant to send info to the camera and would match with the rx on it.
For the Vtx, VID to VO, skip GND & 5V as they are meant to power the camera, RX to T2 is the smart audio, GND to -, BAT to +.
"Bridging" 2 of the 3 pads will decide how much power is sent. In your case, BAT if fine as both are okay to receive full battery voltage (up to 6S).

Yeah I'm guessing the camera is capable of being controlled by the fc through osd, why you would want that idk but imo still kinda cool lol.

Yah nice to be able to toggle the vtx channel or band and output levels without trying to find some micro button and push it in some cryptic sequence or timing and hope it did what you want. I always like my vtx to have one button and one small 1 character LCD so can figure it out but this is a nice alternative too especially for nano size stuff where they probably leave you with some micro led pattern to decode like your Spock or something.

Only necessary connections are power and gnd and video signal from camera to vtx but if you want osd then you go video out of cam into FC and out of fc to vtx so the FC can overlay data on the video feed before transmitting out to your goggles.

Most of my kwads have smart audio connected to the fc for osd control which is very useful but some cameras can also be controlled in a similar fashion. Might be useful for changing camera settings via osd.

Oh gotcha yah was just thinking about the vtx control. Imagine camera control could be good for runcam and the like where lots of resolution and frame rate recording options and think any cam could adjust the brightness and contrast.
