Turtle mode

So i got dshot working on my escs and i enabled turtle mode, the motors spin in reverse but it doesn't flip even with full deflection, just wondering if i have done something wrong (im trying this on my flat floor at home). any help would be appreciated thank you.
 
Just 2 motors are spinning correct? If all 4 are spinning you need to update your firmware. Turtle mode only works after 3.2

Well that doesn't make sense then. If only 2 props are spinning, it would take very little thrust to flip the quad over. Unless of course the props are spinning in the wrong direction..............
