Trouble shooting Help

Hi all.
Well, it had to happen eventually. Fly away of my 550mm quad and ended up in a tree, about 75 ft up. Came back a day or so later to try and get it down, and it fell out by itself, 75ft and hit hard ground. Dug one arm into the dirt, broke off the tip of arm and damaged a motor., along with other things, gps, props. That was about all I could see. So ordered new parts and rebuilt. Changed 9" props to 10" slow fly both are 4.5 pitch. Changed one bad motor, the one embedded in the ground. Calibrated escs. On my first flight just to test it out, I used my 3s 2200 lipo. It is light. Seemed a bit squirrly, but chocked it up to me being a bit nervous. The next day, I put the 4s 4000 lipo and it was dancing all over the place. Tried a 5800 lipo and again, danced around like crazy. It responds fine and goes where I tell it, but it seems a bit crazy. Anyone know what might be going on. I have uploaded a few videos of it in flight with the different batteries. Any help would be greatly appreciated. bty, the gps is not connected because it was damaged also, might that be causing it? What FC are you using? Looks like it's functioning properly, but your rates are way off. With the fast oscillation, I'd say they're too high.

APM FC, but I never changed any of my settings on that. They are on the stock settings. Perhaps I should do another autotune on it and see if that helps.

When a quad goes through a traumatic experience, things can change. Just because it was set to stock settings, doesn't mean they are now. You need to check your rates and recalibrate gyro and accel. Low rates will cause tail wag, slow oscillation and sluggish response to stick commands. Fast oscillation and twitchiness like you have means the FC is over-compensating as the result of rates being too high.

Sounds like I should start fresh and redo the entire FC setup. Also I will check rates. Where should I set the rates?? I guess I can check youtube. Where I learned everything else.

That's the best way to do it, go through your entire setup. I have zero experience with APM, but as a general rule I'd start with reducing your basic pitch and roll rates a bit at a time and see if you get results.
