Totally baffled

I built my own quad and had it flying until a bolt came loose on an arm causing a ground wire to come off the pdb. So no biggy, took it apart soldered it back on. But since this even after ESC calibration (all OK in cleanflight) after I arm it just flips on take off. All channels are mapped correctly, all motors start up OK in CF tab. Motor 1 starts motor back right & so on.
But if I hold it in my hand & tilt it forward, instead of it trying to counter it & push back to correct & bring it level it pushes it forward even more. Same with sideways tilt or corner tilt. All props are on the right way also.
Anybody got any ideas. I'm new to this & still learning so go easy please. Ha.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Can supply pictures if needed. Running on a naze rev6. Not the latest version as cannot map the channels. February update is only one I can map the channels properly & I'm using the flysky FS i6 IMG_20160812_222227246-1024x575.jpg

OK so I just built a whole new quad in between these posts with spare parts I have, but with the same problem. Everything is opposite still, tilt forward & it pushes forward instead of pushing back to level up in angle mode.
And in 24 hours not one person has any help for me. On any subjects I've posted. IMG_20160814_091457277-1024x575.jpg

When you say you lean it forward and it doesn't fight and just wants to lean more, leads me to think it's in rate mode. Doesn't explain why it flips but it would definitely behave differently if you're not used to it. Whenever I have a problem that needs fixing, when I'm done I go into Cleanflight, restore default settings and go f

Yes if I tilt forward it wants to go even more that way. I seen another thread that you replied to. The op said he had the ESC wired up in reverse. I don't know what he meant other than, in motors tab number one started motor number 4. The only other reverse would fry the naze. Ground to signal, signal to ground. Something is reversed but I'm stumped. I built a whole new quad with brand new parts only to get same problem. When I first had this problem I swapped naze for new unused one with same fault. Then built another quad with the first naze, still with fault.
I have even reflashed the naze with different firmwares. Restored with my very first backup I ever did when all was OK.

I only ever use angle mode. SWD#2 is my arm, SWC#1 is my angle which I don't touch as I'm still learning. SWC#2 is horizon, so rate is SWC#3.
Will try what you said but I'm sure I've already tried that. Would that reset all cli commands aswell. Was thinking of wiping cleanflight off my pc then downloading it again. See if that helps. I already factory reset my fsi6 tx with no joy.

Well I just done a reset with the newest quad and guess what Friend all is sweet now. So just got the old, well the oldest new one with all the fpv gear on it to try now. Still stumped as to what could cause that, but it worked a treat. And now I got 2 working drones for my sweat. +1 to you bro in fact +10

Double whammy both quads are sweet as a nut. Thanks again. I wouldn't even say I had wasted a weekend on that as a problem solved is a lesson learned, and I've had a few now. Definitely not a noob in building them. Diagnostics maybe and flying definitely. So time to bump that last one up alot. Was too windy yesterday anyway but today was perfect for flying 3mph winds on my app and hardly any leaves moving on the tree outside.
But hey ho there is meant to be a heatwave this week on the wirral. Happy flying ppl.

I just started this spring. I've always been an avid golfer. But due to rotator cuff surgery, I needed something to keep me busy. I don't have near as much flight experience at this point as I'd like to due to waiting for parts all the time due to crashes and upgrading, but I am seeing some improvement lately. My plan was to start with toy quads to get a feel, move up to a 250 then a larger bird. Now that I'm OK flying LOS, I planned to learned to fly FPV with a micro. Well, another plan gone south, as I've got everything to build it except the actual frame, which I ordered a couple months ago. Anyhow, other than a few toys quads, I've got a couple ZMR250s and recently finished a Tarot 650 Sport. Actually just finished changing the flight controller to a Naza-M V2 this afternoon.IMG_2343.JPG IMG_2314.JPG IMG_2343.JPG IMG_2314.JPG

Rotator cuff, I think we just call that golfers elbow here in the UK. If it's the same thing. Them builds look assembly line perfect. And not many crashes by the looks of it. I never had much luck with toy quads, had 2 jjrc h8c's but don't last more than a few crashes, with about 2 whole hours flying time I decided if I'm going to break them I may aswell learn to fix them so I jumped in at the deep end and built a ZMR250. Was easy to build and got it flying with virtually no probs. Only had one accident but a few diagnostic problems. But it's all learning. A neighbour has just orderd a cheap diy kit so more than happy to put it together for him as he can be my fpv spotter. Well that seems a bit long to wait for parts so fingers crossed for you buddy.

I made a video of the Maiden flight with the latest quad I made. You could say it's a kangaroo quad. Says it doest exist but if you want to search woodsy5791 on YT it's the only video I got. Next on my list is a action cam after some battery's. Two 1.5 turnigy's went mushy & puffed a bit on me today. With the problems I been having, I left them in my bag charged for a few days. Then after use today they were warm & squidgy. Still got 2 good turnigy & a nano tech. Left. What you using, any suggestions.
