Total Newbie looking for advice

H Guys

I am a total newbie to drones, I have a cheap one that was an xmas present that I have flown and crashed many times. I have been practising to buy my next drone though. Ideally I want to move into FPV racing drones. However I will take advice on that. I want something to start out and ave read various things. I really want to get into it without spending loads on a starter model and 6 months down the line needing a better one. So I was thinking at going in and getting a 250 racer with goggles, ready to fly. but which one am not sure. From there I would look to upgrade and learn to build my own maybe but I understand that takes time and I know soldering is tough. But I am looking at where to start.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Robin

Hi Robin welcome to the forum , I can't see any problem starting with a racer may be fly it line of sight first till your flight skill are second nature then start the FPV flying
The lads will help you get the right kit ,just don't go to cheap or your land up buying twice

Thank you I will do that. Just looked at FPV air 2 and that looks a great way to practice. Any suggestions on which FPV capable drone to start with. I don't want to be buying another one straight away so would like a decent one.

But happy to start with line if of sight then progress to FPV giggles that seems sensible
