Hi all Quaddies,

I have build 2 quadcopters, both 250 size and they look messy I have wires coming out all over and electrical tape wrapped round everything and so on. I want to fit FPV in but just doesnt seem to be any room for it.

Could you please give me some help on how to tidy the wires up to create room.
I have the CC3d Atom, reciever currently in, plus I want to fix, transmitter, camera & FPV Bec, any help would be great..
I was thinking of cutting wires then soldering them together so there shorter.

Looks like your wires are just too long, you could either cut them off and move them back on the ESC. Or (signal cable) fold them back o themselves.

The camera should fit through that hole in the front and screw in, then you just run a wire back to the Tx and battery.

When ya say cut them of for the esc's i know I can cut them and solder them back on, but the wire that plug in the flight controller can i cut that solder it together and be fully working?

The wire I mean is here:-

The fpv gear comes friday and I need to solder the jst on so gotta take it all apart anyway, rather than rushing to get out n FPV I might un-solder everything and tidy it up.. Some quadcopters I see have no wires showing, just a few cable ties. Should FPV gear fit easy on a 250?

Yeah, I have, just don't bridge the solder joints and don't get them mixed up.

A 250 is always a bit tight, but you can fit it neatly and it'll look nice. Don't take the JST off unless you have a JST crimper and the ends. Just desolder it, cut it off and resolder it to the PCB.
