TBS Source One 5" mounting bolts

Hey, obviously this is my first build, I've got the tbs source one frame with matek f405 std FC and matek fchub VTX which is a PDB/VTX combo. I attempted to mount the pdb to the frame, but the bolts going through the frame aren't long enough to go through the holes of the PDB. Am I missing some parts? Should there be something screwed onto the bolts before I mount the PDB? Thanks

You'll probably never get the exact hardware for the build you're doing as no 2 frames are the same. It's just a matter of mocking things up correctly before you start soldering everything up. And personally, I hardly ever use the supplied hardware. I use a single M3 screw which is the entire height of the stack, sometimes up to 30mm. First off is putting the screw through the frame and then screwing on an M3 nylon nut. (or 2 if that's what it takes to get enough clearance between your first component and the frame.) Then it's just a matter of proper spacing between the boards. I use M3 nylon nuts pretty well exclusively for spacing, but sometimes short hex standoffs come in handy as well. So basically there's no standard for mounting flight stacks, it's just a matter of trial and error until you get it how you want it. I'll post a couple pics of different stacks for ideas.
