Symas won't fly

Tried to fly my old Syma; spun props but no takeoff. same with a Stryker (basically a Syma different color)
got a new Syma X5C-1; same thing. vendor sent me a replacement; same. props spin (correct orientation) but no takeoff.
all I can think of is my puter isn't charging the batteries properly.

I charged my NiHui; that few fine.

Hi a pc is not the best way to charge usb has a tiny output try a usb wall plug some times it better also the lead may tell you it's fully charged but a volt meter will tell you it's not , if you have a lot of single cell batteries a Lipo charger with the right charge lead is the best way to go

Yeah the output on computers is typically 500mA or .5A small batteries will only charge at .1A typically but dedicated charged doesn't hurt. Also think everyone should own and know how to use a multimeter, it is to electronics what the ruler is to a carpenter (necessary tool).
