doing some photo ops wi my Syma; got disoriented whilst rotating for better pix, it got away from me, I grounded it. landed in road, no traffic, no prob. could have walked over and retrieved but got lazy and decided to launch and fly to me. still had orientation issues and crashed it into tree, after which it fell in a puddle.
took out, opened batty compt, dabbed wi tissue, dried overnight. re-assembled; worked okay except for one motor, no turn.
close exam revealed the little white pinion gear thingy missing.
ordered (from Amazon; higher price, quicker shipping, didn't want to wait a month or whatever).
got the set of four last night; carefully pressed in; launch; success!!!
now I has a spare! and a lot more confidence. (but no more tree crashes I hope)
