Syma X5C-1 Rescue

Like most new fliers have crashed a few and finally lost one in a tree. Good news was tree was on my property. Bad news was it was way up there. It was there for about 10 days in rain, sleet, wind, and freezing temps. Finally got it down this evening with help of my neighbor's ladder and a telescoping pole.

Just wanted to say that these things must be bullet proof. Brought it in and only issue was a broken prop and a likely crapped out battery. Let it dry out, stuck a fresh battery in and fired it up. Works great for now. Will take it slow flying this one for awhile to make sure it's OK.

Anyway, a happy ending and another reason why new flyers should stick with inexpensive quads. Syma fan for now!

nice :D yeah i noticed that my x5c-1 could really take a beating, though apparently mine was defective, but i was able to easily take a wet paper towel and wipe off the dirt to return it and it looked good as new with no scratches lol.
