Syma x5 - loose battery connection?

Hi all,

Recently picked up some 750 mah replacement batteries for my X5, and I'm finding that the connection in the quad isn't tight and I spontaneously lose power while flying. No good! These are the Nano-Tech 35-70C batteries that many recommend for this quad. I just got brave enough to take the prop shields off, so this is causing quite a beating on my drone when it suddenly drops like a rock. The stock battery still clips in tighly, it seems the Nano-Tech plugs are a shade too small and are loose, or won't clip in for some other reason. Anyone run into this problem?

I have a handful of these 750's for my Syma. No problems with the connector plugs (if anything, the battery is tough to insert into the holder). However, some vendors were known to ship these with reversed polarity plugs for the X5. I know that’s not your problem but just remember reading about this issue with the NanoTech’s before I got mine.

I guess you could take a small piece of masking or electric tape, fold it over and wedge it in to make a tighter connection.
