Syma Transmitter Help Needed

So I decided to try quads and I have also decided I like it. Very fun to fly and shoot video with.

I purchased a Syma X8W because I wanted a larger unit and am still learning and didn't want to break the bank until I get better at flying.

My problem is that the transmitter stopped pairing to the aircraft.
I turn the remote on (LED flashes)
Then turn the quad on (all the LEDs flash rapidly, top and bottom)
Then I push the left stick all the way up and all the way down.
The transmitter LED stops flashing, like it always has and the LCD shows everything is working.
The quad LEDs don't stop flashing and the quad will not fly.

I can repeat this process till next St Crispin's day and it will not pair to the bird.
I have swapped the board in the quad and have the same results.
I can only think the remote is bad but I figured someone here is smarter on these than I am.

The remote also, not all the time, will not fully boot up when switched on. The LED will remain solid, the LCD will not come up and nothing works. Cycling the power switch will clear the issue but sometimes I have to cycle it several times.

I have had this quad less than 20 days and have about 2 dozen flights on it when this all started up

Any help for a NuB would be appreciated.

Sorry you're having problems so soon, but that's how things go with these quads. Not exactly the same quality control as here LOL. Don' have any experience with Syma stuff, but it certainly sounds like a transmitter problem assuming that both transmitter and quad batteries are good and fully charged. I'd say yeah try a new transmitter. I see they're selling at Gearbest for under $10, just sucks that it would take a while to get.

Yes...both batteries are full.

They sell for $13.99 from bangood...the one on best gear doesn't work with the X8 series. I suppose I will just have to buy one and hope it works.
