What i meant ..will a X5 generic battery fit in the quad as a substitute for the stock X5UW battery?
I am looking a battery with more mAh's instead of the 500 mAh stock battery for longer flight time..

More mAh is more capacity but doesn't mean greater flight efficiency or flight time at some point you hit diminishing returns, more mAh requires more weight and the added capacity doesn't increase thrust in a moment just how long a given thrust can be applied. Also you lose some stability and manuverability when adding weight but not increasing thrust.

I'm in Canada. The link I posted is a Canadian address.
I assume you have Amazon in your country.

waflejock has given you the expert advice.
I just want to add that the X5UW battery is proprietary. You are meant to use that exclusively for that X5UW quad, unless you can find another Syma quad battery with the same attachment system and same voltage which is 3.7v in this case.
I had watched several You-tube videos on experts modifying the battery attachment unit for a more "powerful" battery.
I am a novice. I won't venture to try.
Ok..what about a generic battery "X5" 500mAh work as a substitute for the X5UW battery..
All the generic batteries list X5 without the UW.just X5
And what type connector would it need for the connection.?
Most stock batteries reviewed were defective..

Yah this is one of two things that will prevent you from even trying, take a pic of the current connector and battery you are using and can try to identify. The two things that matter in terms of trying this out and not damaging things are the same connector type and the same voltage, then worst case scenario you draw too much current from a battery and kill it that way but at least won't damage other components. You can certainly try larger batteries I've flown with 2100mAh (4S) on a 5" quad but typically somewhere in the 1300mAh to 1550mAh seems to give the most controllable (not wobbly or drifting too much) experience. You can also probably find adapters for the batteries but personally would rather just swap the connectors on both sides (aside from with 1S batteries where connector isn't on wires but right on the cells/foil)
Caveat Emptor? You get what you pay for. Buying a cheaper knock off battery could result in consequences that are not desirable. Like buying parts for your car, OEM is always better than generic.
I'd say original is better than knock off but what you get out of the box may have corners cut and can be improved upon by third parties. With the car analogy I'd agree get a windshield from the mfg or whatever if you expect warranty and standard performance on most parts but if you add a super charger or turbo and know the benefits and downsides then it can be worth it and the way I learn is by trial and error a lot. Agree too though that with quads there is a sweet spot for power and weight and all and changing any component can drastically change how things fly especially with no changes to the PID tuning (if it is tuned for 150 grams but now weighs 160 grams maybe no big deal but bring it up to 200g and you've added 1/3 the original weight the PID tuning likely will have more wobbly or overshoot/undershoot when trying to hit some target angle)
Seriously why? do you want new batteries for a X5 they are a nightmare to fly no alt hold or gps and they are so light the slightest bit of breeze and they are gone! .......................................... my first quad was a Syma x5 SW I almost gave up Upgrade get a Syma X25 Pro
