Suggestions & Advice Welcome: First Quad Build QAV250

Hi Everyone,

I am working on my first quad build. I'll need help with understanding a little into my quad amp requirements and supply with the following parts.

Power Supply:
Turnigy LiPo Battery: 2200mAh (45C-90C)
Assumption: 2.2*45 = 99 Amps Max Draw

Power Demand:
4 Arris MT1806-2300kV DC Brushless Motors with CrazePony 5030 Propellers
Assumption: 7.2 (Peak Current) * 4 (Number of Motors) = 28.8 Amps

ESC's used:

Turnigy MultiStar 10A BLHeli S Rev 16 ESC 2~4S V3 (Opto) - 3
TURNIGY Plush 10amp Speed Controller w/BEC - 1
Assumption: 10 A * 4 = 40 Amps
My ESC's can handle the current draw from Motors at 100% Throttle.

Total = 28.8 Amps (Is this correct ?)

I did the Math and the total weight of all my components comes to around ~550gms
Peak Thrust from each motors per spec ~ 370 (Total Thrust ~ 1480)

1. Am I missing something here ?
2. Any suggestions on how I can calculate my expected Flight time ?

Arris MT1806-2300kV DC Brushless Motors.jpg You don't say whether the battery is 3s or 4s. Also, your assumption of the motor load is a little off. Max is gonna be 10+ amps with a 5030 prop.

Oh.......and those ratings don't take into acc't that the motors will use more amps momentarily as they come up to speed............overcoming initial resistance from the props, motor weight etc..........

Thanks for the chart. I've found a one posted elsewhere and was a little off.
BTW I've a 3S battery. So I'll go with assumption of peak current of 10+ per motor at 100% throttle.
I'm hoping my 10A ESC's should be able to handle the load momentarily.
