Storm Drone 4 Mini + Naza M Lite Setup Help

I work for a retail store that is getting into the drone business. I've been given the task of adding a Naza M Lite GPS unit to a Storm Drone 4 Mini (Devo RX701 receiver), but I'm having trouble getting it to work. I've followed instructions from Helipal but they are for the DJI Flamewheel F450 RTF package but the rx is the same so I don't think that should matter. http://image.helipal.com/helipal-f450-rtf-naza-v2-manual-01.pdf

I've got everything hooked up properly (I think) but the Naza Lite doesn't seem to want to come out of Failsafe mode (yellow light blinking really fast). I've tried toggling the FMD switch but still no luck. The Transmitter is pairing to the receiver as indicated by the solid red light on the RX. Does anyone have any advice for me?

I was able to get it out of fail-safe mode. Turns out I had the wrong receiver type set. Should be Traditional instead of D-Bus. I am able to see the sticks moving the sliders in the NAZA software now. I have calibrated the IMU.

But I still can't get it to work. I can't seem to get it into GPS/Compass calibration mode by toggling the FMD switch 5-6 stimes.

Have you calibrated the imu, and performed a compass calibration?

Doesn't change anything. Have 3 red flashes then 1 green flash. Also tried it outside with full GPS signal (all green flashes). No change.

I notice that in the software, the FMD switch is only switching position 0 & 1, but not in position 2. Would this be an issue? As far as I can tell it should be able to work with just a 2 position switch.?

After a close look at the Naza Lite software for Rx inputs, I realized that the Throttle & Elevator channels are swapped. After switching the wires, I was able to get the motors to spin up.
Haven't flown it yet but I will get around to that tomorrow.

And I assume that was causing an issue with it not going into compass calibration mode because the Throttle would have been in the middle by default as it was actually getting input from the Elevator channel.

I tried flying it this morning & it works!!!

Still unable to get it to go into Compass/GPS Calibration mode though :(

I managed to get it working. :) The instructions say to set the TRAVAD of GEAR to +0.00%/-83.5%. This should be +83.5%/-83.5% so that the FMD switch switches in all 3 positions. After that, I was able to go into GPS/Compass Calibration mode with no problems.

And as for the Throttle & Elevator lines, I guess this transmitter was ordered with a right hand throttle :/
