Spektrum DXe help

Hey everyone, total newb here. I bought a used Spektrum DXe (SPM1000) at our local hobby shop and the seller mentioned that it may be from a RTF kit. I'm trying to bind it a Blade Zeyrok BNF (https://www.hobbyzone.com/blade/quadcopters/bnf/BLH7380T1.html) unsuccessfully. The Zeyrok manual says "if your DXe was included in a RTF the transmitter software will have to be updated" and it recommends "downloading the Blade Zeyrok DXe model available at www.spektrumrc.com" how ever I don't see it. I have the PC USB cable not sure if that helps. How to I go about updating the software the website isn't to helpful and I couldn't find any videos. Thanks for any help.

Hi mate the DX2 came as the transmitter in the ready to fly box ,I have one with my wifes Blade 230s
your need to download the software from spektrum or horizon hobbies for the interface between the transmitter and the PC then your need to down load the file for the quad , also use the software to set up the transmitter and make any changes that you need to do but it should work off the file first time once you have the file on the transmitter it should bind ok
Just so you know if your planing on having more than one quad it will not work well on this transmitter as you need to reflash every time you want to fly a different one
