Setting telemetry using SP F3 Deluxe and a D4R-II reciever

I've watch numerous videos and setting up telemetry but still can't get working.
This is what I have so far.
  • Taranis 9D Plus
  • D4R-II
  • SP Racing F3 Deluxe
I'm using the soft serial IO2 channel 6 running 1 wire to RX port on receiver. I've set up configuration in Cleanflight for Soft serial 2 for Frsky under telemetry. Telemetry is active in configuration. Cleanflight firmware is updated to latest.
Can some provide detailed steps that i need yo follow to get telemetry working
 
Did you change port settings.
Sorry don't use telemetry or osd.
Basic does me. Though sometimes I wish I did. But I don't go far & have a drone alarm. If the quad is still for 30 seconds it goes off & its loud. Aswell as the esc's. Beeping. with most batteries I can feel when it's time to come down except with graphene. There power is pretty constant.
