Securing propellers on motors

Hi All,

I am at the last stage of my quad rebuild.

I have 4 SunnySky 2012 motors. But all with the same clockwise thread for attaching the Props.
I have heard there stories that with the two motors that will be running clockwise the nuts can spin off. I cannot even imagine what damage it is going to do when losing a prop!

I have put a locknut (second nut) on the two propellers going clockwise. Do you think that this will do the job? Any other ideas?

Thanks! :-)

Thanks.

I have got some nylocks and they work well apparently. I have not lost any propellers during my first flight.

Got another issue now. My Lipo 4S will not charge with my Imax B6. The Imax indicates that 4th cell is faulty. I can see it going up to 5 volts when charging
But when I check with the small voltmeter it says that everything is balanced at 3.94. hhmmm. Need to figure this one out. :-)

Yeah, nyloc should be good, just inspect them each time you fly to make sure they aren't loose at all.

I'm not sure about the battery issue. Good luck with that one!
