SD Card Problem

I recently bought a Syma X11C as my first venture into flying quadcopters. An amazing piece of kit for the money! Everything is fine but I wanted to upgrade the 4GB micro SD card supplied with an 8GB card but when I plug one in the LED flashes green instead of glowing steady as it does with the 4GB card and doesn't record anything. The card works ok on the PC and is formatted to FAT32 which I think is correct. Any ideas please? There's no mention about a flashing green LED in the manual.
Thanks.

Thanks Quest. I did the SD card upgrade after seeing guides on the X11C on YouTube that recommend changing to an 8GB or a 16GB card. The green LED must have been designed to flash under certain conditions but there's no info in the manual or online and an email to Syma didn't get a response.

Flashing green light is just the gyro trying to sync. It's normal and should go to silid after a few seconds. If not, you're probably just not on a level surface while it's calibrating.

Thanks Renov8r. I tried doing the normal start up routine on a level surface with the 8GB card inserted but the LED continues to flash and doesn't change to red when I press the video button. I think the problem may be that FAT32 doesn't support more than 4GB so the YouTube video may have been mistaken.

Individual file size can't be over 4gb in fat32, has nothing to do with size of SD card, I have 64 and 32gb SD cards formated fat32 with no issues, I know you said the SD card works on your computer, if it were me I would try a different 8gb in my camera and see if it works, also try to reformat the one you are having issues with and do not use quick format.

Thanks for coming back Quest. I did a full reformat on the card and it works fine now. Think I was concentrating on the symptom rather than the cause!
Many thanks.
