Hi
@War Chest
What drone and camera are you flying.
I noticed you were flying FPV. Once you make the move to FPV does it make it harder to fly without FPV?
Nice film and a lovely day for it.
Hi Roger!
Drone:
I am flying a 5" Mini-Quad (5" refers to propeller size). I built it from an assortment of parts that I purchased separately. There are also plenty of RTF (Ready To Fly) miniquads out on the market for an affordable price.
For filming the footage that you see on the video above I used a GoPro Session 5.
And finally in regards to FPV, although stick movements are exactly the same, LOS and FOV are completely different animals.
With LOS you are generally flying in a manner that looks good to your eye as you are staring at the quadcopter.
With FPV, you are flying as if you are in the quad-copter so therefore you will naturally fly differently.
In my experiences, these are two completely different skills and you will not lose any ability transitioning from one to another.
In fact I would say knowing how to fly LOS only makes your FPV experience better.
Hope that was helpful and thanks for the comments!
