Rx signal, but motors don’t spin

Hi,
I’ve finished connecting up my fc and realised that the motors do not respond when the stick is moved. I looked in betaflight and the receiver input tabs are all moving properly, and I’ve bound an arming switch and everything, but it still doesn’t work. Have tested motors separately and they spin fine. Even the led lights on the fc flash differently when ‘armed’, but no motor output. Any ideas why?
 
You may have "motor stop" option enabled top right of config tab. If throttle is above 0 when trying to arm it won't be allowed... If you have fpv goggles and on screen display hooked up can go into the osd tab and enable "warnings" toggle to see why it isn't arming. If no osd/goggles can see if have option to get blackbox logs from the quad (may have to hit the expert toggle in betaflight to see and download the logs then get blackbox log viewer app to view them).

All worked until I tried to hook up a permanent battery (3.7v)
Now the motors just spin, no light on fc or receiver
As far as I can tell, I haven’t burnt any chips on the fc or anything
