Receivers...Transmitters and all that jargon... HELPP

Ive come quite far in a week from only knowing what a drone is to now knowing most of the required parts to build an FPV however...

Im stuck on the transmission side of things..
Do I need
Radio transmitter and receiver ??
AND
Video transmitter and receiver ??

I want to aim for a long range 'ish FPV. I have a Q X7. What Im aware I need to buy so far:

TBS Crossfire nano ( which gos on the FPV itself)
TBS Crossfire micro tx (which gos on the controller)

Video

TBs unify pro32..


Now I'm lost..??
 
Yes in general you have a control transmit module for controller and receive on the quad and separately video transmitter on the quad and video receiver in goggles or with standalone display. One exception would be dji digital air system where they combined the video transmitter and control receiver on the quad into one and using their transmitter and goggles can work together, in general they are independent tx/rx pairs though.
