Receiver problems

i have just purchased a flysky 9x tx and the flysky 6ch rx. After I bound the two together, no problem. I then hooked up the connections from flight controller to rx and proceeded to hook it up to clean flight to check values and what not. Once connected I proceeded to check receiver values, only to see the values jumping all over the place, without me doing anything on the tx. Wondering what the issue is? Help would be greatly appreciated. I have not had this problem with the less complicated tx, if that is the problem
Thanks for any help

When I plug up my spektrum dx4e and spektrum ar400, they work fine, value are not jumping everywhere and I can arm and disarm board. Really confused

Hi mate this may sound strange when you bind you want to be the min of 6 feet away from receiver, once you do this try it again keep the transmitter away from quad and PC and see what happens , Also do you have a servo you can plug in to see if it jitters so will then tell you if its transmitter/ receiver and not the FCB not liking the set up

Hello, thank you for your help. I just re bound the tx and rx, no problems. Then proceeded to hook it up to a plane I have and check with a servo. Hooked it up turned on tx and plugge in battery of plane, the light on rx starts to flash, as if binding, but there is nothing . I can hear the servo twitching a little. Sounds like I may have something bad, tx or rx?

Hi Brandon it sounds like the receiver is bad mate , flashing rx means its not bound to the TX or not receiving a signal the rx is cheaper so try a new one

It is strange though, when I hook it up to my quad it turns on and off and does nothing else after that except what shows in the video when I hook it up to clean flight, could it be the tx too?thanks for the help

Hi Brandon sorry cant help as I have never used that TX , Check that the FCB works with the tx , also do you have cppm turned on this may be the problem some of the newer TXs use this and the FCB may not like that( cppm is for a single wire from receiver to a FBL unit on a FBL Heli) you should be able to disable this in the TX menu
What FCB are you using

If I remember right this FCB can use cppm so plug it into the PC and turn it off and also turn off in transmitter and see if that works

Really seems like the the new tx or rx is the problem, as I have flown my quad with two other tx and rx( hobby king brand and spektrum brand), with just simply plugging in and ready to fly.
