Receiver Controlled LEDs

Hey guys, I recently finished my first build and want to put some LEDs on the arms. Which LEDs should I get. How can I make them controlled by my receiver?

Hi mate i use the water proof leds from hobby king , have you got a spare channel on the receiver look for aux2 on the receiver

Thank you for your response. I have the Turnigy 9X. Do I just plug it into an empty channel on my receiver?

Hi mate as long as you have a spare channel , Normally an aux channel , depending on what channels the board is using you may have the gear channel free

What flight controller are you using? The Naze32 (and clones) running Cleanflight can now support LED control through the flight controller.
