RE : installing a camera into a drone which I bought without the camera

The C4000 camera doesn't have any wifi streaming capabilties. Only recording.

Sorry. Your statement appears to be contradicting to info I gathered. Maybe I misunderstood you ?
The link from Banggood show a listing of EX2H with camera. It is using the C4000 camera for fpv.
That means the images C4000 collect will be transmitted LIVE to my phone attached to the transmitter. That is all I want.

Eachine EX2H Brushless WiFi FPV With 1080P HD Camera Altitude Hold RC Drone Quadcopter RTF - C4000 1080P Camera

So, if I were to buy a C4000 camera, I would also have to buy a mount/bracket for installation. Yes ?
I don't seem to be able to find a mounting bracket suitable for this EZ2H drone. I mean....I don't see anywhere at the drone's belly that I can secure a mounting bracket. No screw holes or bracket openings.

Folks, I need this done. Your inputs are desperately wanted.
Thank you.

OK. I was watching a video of putting a camera into a MJX Bugs 3.
It dawns on me that Bugs 3 has many similarities with EX2H. They are almost like twin.

So, I opened my EX2H canopy and I saw 2 screw holes which appears for attaching a camera.
Close-by an unoccupied connecter. I wonder if that is for plugging in the camera.

One curious observation. The drone already has an antenna. ???

C6000 is the wifi streaming option. c4000 has no wifi

Scroll down and the red text says ''Note: Pls confirm whether your phone support 5G wifi if you choose C6000 camera version.''

Yes the free connector is probably for the camera. But it could be for a led light. If you plan to use it for powering a different non eachine/mjx camera. Use a multimeter on the pins to check the voltage first.

There looks to be another unused connector on the left.

The antenna is the receiver antenna for the radio.

My problem is, I am unable to find the camera I should have.
Can you help?

P.S. I did find a 5.8g cam, but that is not what I need.

Not sure what you mean ? I don't think there was ever a 2.4ghz wifi camera for the Bugs 3/EX2H. They are all 5G wifi i believe .

I think I'll put this "project" to the back burner.
This thread has gone too long anyway. I shall put this thread to green pasture.
Thank you very very much for your patience and assistance.

The 2.4ghz camera's modules are not good quality. It's not really worth investing in.

Analog fpv is the way to go because the range is further and the latency is ultra low.

You still have the option to fit any HD camera to the bottom. The EX2H can lift both. View the HD footage after the flight.

they will work together, in fact that monitor will work with most any 5.8 vtx. I'll be interested to see how you mount the camera though

You think I may have problem with that?
Before I decided to buy this one, I looked at one of the pictures and it seemed like a routine "attach with screws", unless the screw holes of the cam do not line up with the screw holes of the drone body...……..
Open the link C5810 5.8G FPV WiFi Camera. On the left, there are a few pictures. The 3rd one from the top was the one I looked at.

Looks like it will fit based on your pictures might be worth putting some small rubber washer (or slice of springy foam) between the quad frame and the camera mount to dampen the vibration too.

Items ordered.
Camera from eBay and monitor from Amazon.
Sellers chosen based on price (cheaper) and length of delivery time (shorter).

Would you believe most sellers estimate delivery takes 40 to 60 days ?
Freaking unreal. And we are in 21st century ?

Doh, I've been viewing this thread from work and can't look at some of the pics, I thought you were using this for the camera that hung below the quad. The one you ordered will work just fine!

Update :
My D43 monitor arrived 2 days ago. Still waiting for the C5810 camera.

Received my Eachine EX2Mini today and it scares the dickens out of me. I had it on Altitude hold mode, but unlike its big brother EX2H, it's MIA. The brushless power and the drone zipped by before I could blink.. Took me no more than 30 sec. before I crashed it...… every time.

Anyway, I was surprised to find out that the Mini is also using the c5810 camera.
So, I opened up the canopy, took out the camera, and installed it to my "favourite" ex2h.
Now I have a EX2H with 5.8g camera and a D43 monitor to view the instant images.

SLFLY was right. It was "the other" unused connector meant to be for the camera. The wire is a bit short, so the camera len cannot be right up at the front. I had to improvise a bit.
Wait till the one I ordered arrives. It might have a longer wire. If so, I'll return this camera back to the Mini.

Meanwhile my favourite drone is now fpv, and I'll work on that scary Mini.
