Range?

5-7 miles is realistic with a long range setup, like Dragonlink:

You can contact them for more info. Or do a google search. A lot of people use them, but their site doesn't have much specific info on the exact range you should expect since it's based on the combination of equipment you buy from them.

There's also some technology being developed using 3G/4G technology that has virtually unlimited range as long as there is signal, but it's for video only right now:

HI MM is spot on standard transmitter like spektrum dx6/7/8 will work to 3km but after that a ground station and booster had a spy plane 5km then signal was going , Dragon link is one of the best hobby king do a base station case so you will have a monitor not glasses but will still need a 5,8gb transmitter receiver for the FPV
