Radiolink At9 firmware 1.5.2 upgrade info

Just a note about it. The new 1.5.2 upgrade brings the R9D receiver up to 10 or 12 channels, you can actually make the change easily on the transmitter between the two. But here's the important part I wanted to share. If you have it set on 12 channels after the update, the r9d receiver will not work with it. You have to set it on 10 channels and then it will start working again. It's like magic . It was driving me nuts until I found a random post on a forum where someone mentioned it. I haven't found this info anywhere else on the Internet. So the bottom line is you can download and install the 1.5.2 firmware, but once you do, unless you have the r12ds receiver, keep the transmitter set on 10 channels in the newly added "system" adjustment. Its quite a large upgrade, definitely worth it, just be warned. -WW

Anyone know how it is possible to set s.bus mode on R12DS receiver? I have an R12DS receiver connected to main port of CC3D revolution flight controller. Thank you

If I press the button for more then two or three seconds the LED begins to flash; if I press for less time nothing happens. The transmitter must be turned on? The flight controller has to be connected? Thank you

Power up tx and rx so it's binded and you have a solid red light. Push the little bind button on the side of the case twice and it will change from red to purple/blue.
another thing that should be done to the AT9 is stick calibration. I wasn't aware of it and I don't even think it's mentioned in the manual. Here's a vid of the process

Turn the transmitter on. Hold bind button until the red light stops blinking and stays solid red. Then push the button again.

Yeah I just recalibrated after upgrading firmware. Now I have to recal my accelerometer. What a pain. You know if I can do it with little levels on each side of the fc? Dont really want to take it off.....

I'm going to reply to my own question. Yes you can buy little tripod levels put them on all six sides of the flight controller while it's installed you can put one on the very bottom of the quad and when I calibrated my accelerometer it worked perfectly.

I'm using AT10II
Ok just wanted to make sure the protocols were compatible. As far as why it's not binding I just can't tell you. There's nothing overly complicated about it so it's really kind of hard to not do it right maybe you have a bum receiver? Do you have another one you can try binding?
