How hard is it to set up the cx20 with a different radio like a frsky

Hi mate most of the toy quads cant be changed due to protocol chip being part of the gyro board

i watched a utube video of a cx20 using a futaba radio and ive seen them sold as a bind and fly

Ok you answered your own question , it works on the futaba protocol, So your need a futaba radio and program it to do the functions the other transmitter it came with does ,basic set up will be a aeroplane
