Mixed bag with this one

^^ this is the working one, motor leads were twisted properly the solder connections looked good the receiver pretty much works as expected.

^^ this one 'same model' but apparently different version was sent to me first and had numerous problems. Receiver would not stay in binding mode without putting significant pressure on the bind button and keeping it held down after powering up then binding. Even after getting binding working the soldering onto the 4 in one ESC was terrible and it shorted out I'm pretty sure so one motor wasn't spinning at all and another was twitching like it had a loose phase wire. Basically quality control is out the window.

The second one I got (first picture) is totally different

^^ both came from this amazon link from the same seller but two totally different packages. First one also had a JST connector instead of xt-30 or the balance lead style connection as pictured in the ad (and didn't come with a battery, second came with 350mAh 2S).

Second one they sent the binding worked out of the box as expected, the FC was basically pre-configured though I had to change the protocol from Spektrum1024 to Spektrum2048.

The working one flies pretty well. Some down sides, the camera isn't really held in place by anything other than friction (on the first one was just sitting on a bit of mounting tape, second one it was more tightly wedged into the front of the frame but still added some hot glue to keep it in there otherwise kept popping out). Two other smallish issues with the one that works, in angle mode it seems to have some drift, this could just be a calibration thing but I have attempted redoing the accelerometer calibration but to no avail, second issue is some drop outs on the radio transmission when I get pretty far out in a field but I may end up replacing the receiver anyhow once I get some antenna in to fix my other dsmx receiver.

Basically if you already know what you're looking at and can diagnose/fix issues yourself then this is a pretty good deal and ultimately pretty fun to fly, that said it is a case of you get what you pay for when it comes to QC or lack thereof and consistency in the product, but for $130 for something I can rip around outside and not worry so much about hurting someone in a crash it's worth it to me. Can roll and flip pretty easily, power loops take a lot out of it and it is shaky to recover from any sort of dives but fun cruiser (basically all the components could be better but would probably double the price).

Wow I've ordered 2 LDARC/kingkong quads from banggood and both have been excellent top notch jobs.

The GT-200 has drift in angle mode and no amount of calibration will get rid of it, but I've found that if you land, disarm, the rearm the drift will be gone lol!

I also had the tiny 7 which was a very good flier with zero issues right up until I lost it. I must have put 50 hours of flight time on that little quad, destroyed two bodies and many sets of props but the tiny 7 just would not quit.

All in all I thought LDARC/kingkong was excellent bang for the buck.

Weird on the drift thing but I'll give that a shot though. The GT-200 looks like a good deal too, would be more tempting if I didn't already have a 5" quad that I've been pretty happy with. Going to have to drop off the failed one at an Amazon drop off location to get that $130 back.

The main problem with the GT-200 is that it's TOO light, I prefer a heavier quad but for flying in the city it's cool because if you do hit someone's property it's not likely to cause too much damage.

The drift thing is weird. The quad starts out very stable but as you fly it will slowly start drifting in a random direction, and it'll get worse over time. The direction it drifts is always random, never the same twice, I'm baffled but doing some research I'm not the only one with this problem. However flying in acro mode it doesn't drift at all, only angle and horizon.

Sorry to hear you feel victim to the Chinese "you work now!" quality control that sometimes lets crappy quads go across the ocean but at least amazon will take care of the problem lol.

Update the receiver on the new one turned out pretty flakey as well dropping out of the air in my apartment. I could see the light on the receiver go out just before the quad took a dive and just putting some pressure on the receiver seems to cause it to turn on and off (not bind button just pressure on the board/chips). I just swapped in my auto binding dsmx spektrum receiver and even with completely chopped off antennas it's maintining a solid connection. Luckily new antenna come in tomorrow.

^^ little flight with it, still using my receiver with the busted antenna so didn't want to get too far out (also busy street right there) but fun little rip around the front of my building

Definitely nice that it turns on a dime and don't have to worry much about the props worst case scenario they get tangled in some hair (have prop guards on too). Overall it's really fun but I would have been hosed if I didn't have an extra receiver laying around and I needed to order some more screws since it didn't come with enough longer ones to put the prop guards on (using two on each motor), lots of little stuff missing but still feel like it's a bargain for the good vtx, decent lightweight frame and good enough for now FC, motors, and esc. Just wish the first one wasn't a dud.
