i have a syma x8g quad cooter in which I had to replace the upper and lower parts of the body which meant having to pretty much take everything out of it and transfer everything over to the new one. Upon doing this I installed a fully charged battery and turned it in and took off but when I go straight up, it rotates in circles...and before you ask, yes the blades are facing the correct way.
Any suggestions here?

When you say it rotates in circles do you mean it just yaw spins in place around an axis or is it cruising forward and doing spirals? In either case my best guess off hand is the flight controller might be tilted in the body or there may have been some soft mounts that were lost in the transfer, maybe check to see if there is a way (usually move sticks down and out or something similar while on the ground) to re-calibrate the accelerometer.
