Quadcopter rotors stop on takeoff

I am honestly not even up to the level of a newb, I'm that raw at this. But I've run into a problem that I do not see explained in any of the youtubes, etc. that I've looked at. After a crash, my quadcopter (X-predators 510) turns on fine, and the motors spin up fine. But as soon as I give it any throttle, the front right and back left rotors (both labeled A) stop spinning. If I give it any more throttle, of course it flips.

I've taken off the blades and checked and made sure the gears are engaged and not stripped, and they seem fine.

All of the explanations I've seen have been about wiring up the rotors wrong. But of course I've not touched the wiring. All I did was crash the copter :(.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi if the quad has coreless motor , they normal do it the have gears you may find its the motors have failed after the crash which is common for coreless, they are cheap and don't last long
 
The motors all spin up when I turn the copter on, so the motors are working. It's when I apply throttle that two cut out.

I know it's a cheap unit. I don't have high expectations. But I'm trying to avoid just throwing it away.
 
Hi it is possible for motors to spin slowly but can't spin up fast for take off, I know it's a pain but can you move the motor to a different arm this will tell you if it's motor or FCB that's playing up if the motor still cuts out in its new position then it's the motor
 
If your quadcopter has gears, it's probably using brushed motors, and they may be burned out. Do they look like little metal cylinder firecrackers? If so, then they are brushed motors. If you crash and something hinders the propeller blades from spinning (tree branch, grass, etc) while theya re still trying to spin they will heat up and burn out fast. It's called smoking a motor.

You can buy replacements on Aliexpress, but you need to get the right rotational direction for clockwise or counter clockwise motors. Cut the wires to the old motors, slide them out, slide the new ones in... and hope you can find osme that have the right gear already on the shaft, or that you can transfer it (probably not). Finding the right motors and doing all that is a Pain. i did the same to an H68 and hunted down the replacement parts but have yet to swap them in. It's really not worth it.

Pro tip: don't buy a brushed motor quad ever again. This includes all the Tinyhawks, Babyhawks, etc. You don't want anything with plastic gears, burshed motors, or Angle mode only flying. Make sure a quad has real Acro mode before you buy it or you're just throwing money into the wind. My advice really is not to waste money on these toy quads, they don't even give yo a taste. Instead, learn to fly like a boss in the sim first.

Since two opposite motors are not working right, it could also be a FC board problem, in which case, toss it.
