There is a quadcopter frame, lipo battery, motor and propeller size matching table, I share it for beginners to know how to choose frame, lipo batteries, quadcopter motors and propeller.

thank you! :D

not to look down at it because it's obviously experiential information and thus practical,

the issues i found when looking for frames and motors:

frames don't always state what motors they are drilled for. i was looking for 11xx, but a lot of the 130, 150mm frames i looked at were for 8.5mm, single hole on each arm. (then i had to do a new search to find out how easy carbon fiber is to drill holes in).

it would be useful tio know what mounting each motor type is.. eg. 11xx, 13xx are both 9mm spaced holes?? some sources say yes some say no. i gve up and bought a prefab because it did my head in.

i only brushed the surface of trying to find out what fcb/escs i needed to make the 11xx motors i liked go round.

course, i'm an odd case. i think, most people want to build quads that look like the ones the see on the telly, little compact things to race around. otoh, i wanted more of a lazy flyer.. 11xx motors on a super light frame that could easily be a half foot, or even a foot square.... i'm just mental like that. :)

Looks pretty good though I might suggest that there could be a wider capacity range once you get over 400mm and maybe three separate categories of battery voltage and KV ; a Low Voltage for 1S-2S, Standard for 3-4S and High Voltage chart for stuff like 5S-6S. The start would have to stair step because I don't believe that 6S on 5000kV motors is really practical, but it is used on 180 class frames and higher with lower KV motors.

Either way this is a helpful chart, thanks for posting it.
