Programmable quadrocopter

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this area. And I see that there are a lot of different kinds of quadrocopters.
Could you please help me to make a good decision?

So actually I need quadrocopter mostly for programming. So I want to get full access to electronics, drivers etc.
It should have usual stuff like gyroscopes, accelerometer, wifi and some exits to connect external devices(rs-232 or USB)

The cost range is from 100$ to 10k $;)

Please send all information which fulfill at least fully programming property.

Hi mate ok to start welcome to the forum , firstly you need to think about what you want it for ,if to carry a payload eg camera etc , may be a quadcopter is not what you need a multirotor like a hecticopter or octicopter they will have more lift then a quad , but is one motor fails on a quad it will crash the other will fly with one or two motors fail.
DJI who make the phantom do the nasa m with gps, return home, launch control FCB ( flight control board ) which you can programe to travel to way points and then return home ,i am not to sure about wifi etc your need to look at there site this is a link to there site

there are same for you to look at to give you same idea of multirotors
 
Hi, actually in future i need copters to test swamp control algorithms.

I agre with you, I need multicopter. Quadrocopter isn't mandatory.

Actually in the first I would like to prepare easy to program algorithms environment to test. So right now I'd like to buy about 5 different copters.

About payload I want to try different copters with it and without.
So actually just 2 options I need to satisfy. It should has good quality and I should get full access to programm everything. By everything I mean even the firmware for micro controller. Btw arm micro controller is preferred.
