Power FC & 1 motor starts

I was one of the lucky ones that got a Tarantula X6 with the junk FC board in it. Got tired of it so I decided to make a Franken Spider, though it has more V262/666 parts than Tarantula parts. Didn't want to take a chance with another X6 FC so I ordered one for a Wltoys V262.

Tonight I torn the Tarantula down and started building the Franken Spider. Got the frame built, motors installed & wired. When I plugged in the battery the right front motor started running. I didn't have the TX on. With the Tx on and bound the RF motor runs if you give it throttle the speed doesn't change.

My 1st thought was I had it plugged into the wrong socket, that was not the case. I don't know if this would make a difference but I don't have any of the leds plugged in.

Had a thought maybe the gyros & accelerator needed calibrated. Plugged on spinning motor, plugged in battery, motor started spinning at fairly high speed. Turned Tx on and tried to bind, would not bind.

Bound the quad, plugged in motor and FC lost bind and said motor spun up. Next to the motor plug socket is a small black rectangle component that get real hot to the touch, 107 degrees. The others are 76 degrees. My guess is the black things are the ESCs. It also had a hot smell during this.

My best guess is a bad chip (ESC)
