Peeping drone? Seattle woman allegedly spied on by Skyris quadcopter - Tech Times

This is a bad title for the story. The news is always trying to scare people. The article is completely about a legitimate commercial aerial video company taking pictures they had permission to shoot from their quad... and some lady happened to call the police, thinking they were filming her naked in her apartment. Although that makes me think.... paparazzi don't mind breaking the law to get the shots they need. I wonder when they will start flying quads up tot he windows of celebrities or flying over their back yards, etc. I'm just waiting for that news story!

Seems like every story I read has a stock photo of a phantom with a go pro. The paparazzi has to have been doing that already, they just haven't been caught yet. This whole hobby is getting a bad rep from a few idiots. Grrr...

Exactly! I notice that too and it bugs me. The worst part is that I actually wanted to see the copter(s) this guy was flying since he's running his business commercially and he had "permission" to fly, so I'm assuming he's getting permits to do what he's doing? Either way, I know he's not using a phantom.
