Parts for first build

Hey guys, getting ready to order parts for my first build. I want a compact quad with room for future upgrades and the capability to lift a gopro. So far I'm thinking:

If someone could please give me suggestions on a battery/charger, any wires or connectors I'd need, a compatible gps unit and a suitable Gopro cradle/mount. If I've forgotten anthing or you'd suggest some changes I'd be keen to hear from you.

Thanks, can anyone tell me what to look for in a battery? 3s lipo? Am I likely to also need connectors or will this setup likely be pretty plug and play? I'm away from home and don't have access to much of a workshop...
