Great flight smashed my quad recently trying to do those tight power loops over stuff at the park too 
Curious how many back up 5" rigs you have or if just bounce between the two you mentioned here. Been flying a custom built one based around iflight frame and emax motors but curious what your take is on best 5" to pick up for freestyle if I want a back up at this point. My buddy got an emax buzz recently and seems pretty nice but not sure I could cram a runcam board in the stack with the slimmer frame (usually have a 3 board stack with pdb then fc then runcam split board, I don't like the extra weight of the GoPro and risking it every time )

Hey Wafflejock! Good to hear from you! Hope you are staying safe!
I a few 5" birds; Impulse Alien, Impulse Reverb, 2 Skyeliners, AstroX v2, Stingy V1 and a Chameleon. My Chameleon is shelved (haven't used it in over a year). My go-to is the Reverb. Probably because I have it tuned perfectly to my liking. Honestly I would recommend any of the above frames. The key for me was building them with the components that I preferred. I'm primarily a Kiss guy but recently installed the Brain FC on the AstroX and like it as well. It's still Betaflight though. I just find BF more complex in tuning... far too many options.
I am starting to lean towards all-in-1's now as I seem to go through a lot of Kiss ESC's (only the 32 amps though.. 24 amps are very tough). I just ordered an Apex frame (supposed to arrive today) and will build that out with Kiss as well. But I always carry the GoPro because I like the quality of footage. I have only wrecked 1 GoPro to date (knock on wood)... I ALWAYS put on the lens protectors and have cracked a bunch of those. They really do help for the most part. Anyway I hope this helps you.
