After a few flights I now have one ESC that beeps and the motor stops completely. I dare not fly like this. Has anybody seen this? Any advice? I have ordered an ESC programming card so that I can check all the settings.

This is my first quadcopter build. www.civrays.com/quadcopter
It is built on the X525 V3 folding frame and uses the hobbyking flight control board. I can't seem to get it to hover. It keeps flying off in one direction.

Hi and welcome to the forum , Ok the FCB I take it you left it as an + set up , The ESCs are not a good multirotor ESC , so Yes you will need to check setting , Another thing we may be able to do is flash the esc with BL Heli or Simonk code this will make them a whole lot better , I will have a look at the chip set and come back to you , Have you plugged the FCB in to a pc and see what the setting are on the board , Now getting back to the FCB standard is a + set up is the FCB mounted with the forward arrow pointing to the front leg

Thanks for reply. Yes i'm using a + setup and board is mounted with arrow to front leg. I have a USB programmer for the board but I don't think I have the software. Flashing the ESC sounds like a good idea, but I have no idea how to do that. Any advice is appreciated.
