New quad build issues

hello all!

I'm building a 3D printed quad (hover ship frame) and needing some help. Im new to this so I might not have some settings right. I'm to the point of calibrating the esc's but they are only beeping 3 times at powerup. I'm only working with one right now hooked up to a 12 volt power supply to get it going. Some information,

Flysky I6x with i6b receiver

Yellow Hw30a esc's - with research I found that these are clones of hobbypower 30a. I flashed them with the newest version of Simonk tgy.hex. All of them were successful at flashing.

hobbypower 2300kv motors

I've looked online and found that the throttle must be full. So throttle at max, connect power supply, esc emits 3 beeps then nothing. If I move the throttle to mid point it makes a long beep. So what's up with this thing?

If I'm missing some information or settings please let me know.

Can you post a link to the ESCs? Just thinking if they're HW, they have their own firmware. In that case, you could flash SK but it would cause problems as it's not the correct target.

I figured out my problem. I had my esc hooked up to ppm. I changed it over to channel 3 and it calibrated. The only thing now is it seems to be full throttle before I hit the halfway mark. Running it from cleanflight it seems to be in the range of 1000 to 1350. Any other settings that need to be changed on the controller or cleanflight?

Change from 1350 to 1980
Minimum 1020 or 1000 I have reasons for 1020
Mid point 1500
Maximum 2000 or 1980 also reasons for 1980. But it can be whatever you want or comfortable with. That should give you more resolution/space.
