hi
Like I said just joined, got a syma x5c in December and really addicted now! I have been looking online and want to upgrade now but not sure of the next (affordable) step, I fell in love with the little racing drones but quickly worked out looking on eBay that I might be able to afford the quad they don't come with all the gear! So looking at the turnigy 450 from hobby king I realise it's gonna take ages to come from the states and have looked online and found some good flight videos on YouTube and some saying you sometimes need to re flash the ESCs which frightens me a little! Is the turnigy worth buying or should I wait?

Thanks
Rich

Hi mate and welcome Hobby king UK warehouse have theses its not in stock now but back orders are normally in stock in 2 weeks , as a basic set up they are not bad , you can build your own quad that way your get more of what you want , but the link is for the UK PNF so your need a radio and battery, so have a think if you want to build one then we can help

Hi Rich , thats the same one but from Hong kong warehouse , they only had the PNF from the uk which would be cheap postage

Well that's thefull setup ordered! Gonna be a long wait from Hong kong what batteries & charger should I get? Heard horror stories about lipo batteries

Hi Rich , the 450 runs on a 2200mah 3 cell so a 50w charger will be good , now there is 2 ways to go DC charger and power pack or a AC/DC charger
AC/DC charger

DC charger

power pack
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/..._Power_Supply_with_UK_plug_UK_Warehouse_.html
And then this will work with both good for when you get more batteries

If these are not what your looking for if you put a link on i will be happy to look at it then tell you what I think

Cool thanks will probably go for the ac/dc one and get the 4 battery board later!
Thanks again for the help
