Hahaha at 51 thousand feet a drone was reported having been spotted.

Ok, i confess..it was me who was flying that high..i just cant say enough about the jjrc 1000a and tarantula x6 radio.:p
Haha, I laughed too hard at a news chopper that followed a guy and trained their cameras on him thinking that he was over and beside another news heli. He yeilded to manned traffic like hs should have, but due to forced perspective they thought he was MUCH higher than he really was. Though drone now is just code for I did see what that was in the corner of my eye AKA UFO.
 
I think the registration is overkill. Really the only law they need to pass in the US is that all UAV pilots be AMA members. The AMA has not only a set of safety guidelines for UAVs, but being a member also gives the pilot insurance in case of accidents like flying into other peoples property or person. Having registration for drones would be like the old adage, "If you outlaw guns, the only people with guns will be the outlaws"
