My First Build

Hello Everyone,

I just started flying quadcopters and I love the hobby! I was looking at a few parts on the internet today because I decided to build my own. I have a few questions to ask before I start buying stuff.

The first question is the flight controller. I have seen that the HobbyKing KK Mini was pretty good. I did some more research to find the Open Pilot CC3D which looks even better to me. I like the fact that it has easy setup and it has ground control. Which one should I get?

The second question is which frame fits each motor. I have looked at two frames.
1.) http://quadcopterframe.com/collections/frontpage/products/rct-spider-quadcopter-frame
2.) http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor...h_Mid_Crab_Landing_Gear_600mm_White_Red_.html

I also found a motor that I like. The link is http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/..._2213_980Kv_14Pole_Multi_Rotor_Outrunner.html

My big question is which flight controller and will both frames work with that motor, and which frame is better.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jorden , the open pilot boards are good if you enjoy programming , as for a fly out of the box the nase32 will be a good one the KK as good but not on hobby king firmware best to reflash, be careful there are a few companys that buy Hobby king frames and stick a bit on the price to just make money if your getting motors from hobby king get the frame there too the frame below is bigger and cheaper
